Semi-Supine or Constructive Rest – Laying on the floor with a book under the back of your head with folded legs. (Alexander Technique style) In this video I am teaching what we need to do when we are standing to have free shimmys.
The Pelvis needs to be free.
Our feet need to be actively engaged pressing the ground so that the 3 folds of the legs can move in unison.
This freedom is the essence creates a lot of room for layering walks, undulations etc. so it is effortless.
